Proposed IB(PYP) Curriculum
The Sivakasi Lions International Institution intend to offer
a globally recognized framework designed for students aged 3 to 12. Rooted in inquiry-based learning, the PYP emphasizes cognitive and context-driven methodologies, encouraging students to become active, lifelong learners. The curriculum integrates six transdisciplinary themes such as,
“Who We Are” and “How the World Works”
that guide learning beyond traditional subjects, fostering a deep understanding of real-world concepts. Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and reflective assessments, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and international-mindedness.
