As Principal, I would like to personally welcome you to The Sivakasi Lions family. In the journey of education, our greatest strength comes when we appreciate each other’s strength.

In every child, there is a world waiting to be explored. The Sivakasi Lions is to be explored. The Sivakasi Lions is committed in our mission to build a character in every child to ensure peace – loving and harmonious world. We believe in holistic education that encompasses academics, co-curricular activities, sports and life skills. We aim to help children develop an all rounded personality through a sound foundation in academic. Here, every individual is valued and can fulfill his/her potential both as teacher and learner as our school provides un matched qualitative education to be a better version of himself/herself. We give priority to such an education which not only helps in acquiring knowledge but also prepares our students for life.
We encourage their critical and analytical thinking skills as we want our students to be agile in their perspective and to be lifelong learners. As Einstein stated – ‘ Education is not so much the feeding of facts into the mind as the awakening of curiosity in the soul.’
As experienced educators, we instill basic principles of life in them and nurture their individual capabilities to the fullest. We deem it as our duty to make our students equip themselves to be self – directed and self managed individuals who can confront the challenges of life without wavering. Our School has earned a brand name for itself, which is known far and wide for its quality education and grooming of young minds to emerge as future leaders.

Teaching Staff
At The Sivakasi Lions Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we take immense pride in our accomplished and dedicated faculty, comprising over 45 educators committed to excellence in education. We ensure that every student receives guidance from seasoned professionals.
A majority of our teachers hold advanced degrees, including master’s degrees (M.Sc., M.A.) and professional education qualifications (B.Ed., M.Phil.). Notably, our Academic Coordinator, Mrs. D. Prema (M.Sc., B.Ed.), has an impressive 35 years of experience, setting a high standard for educational leadership. Our Vice Principal, Mr. S. Shanmugaraja (M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil.), with 26 years of experience, and Mrs. S. Gokhila (M.Sc., B.Ed.), a Physics teacher with 26 years of teaching expertise, exemplify the dedication and knowledge that define our institution.
The faculty’s specialization spans various subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Tamil, Social Science, and Physical Education. Educators like Mr. R. Sekar (M.A., B.Ed.), PGT of English with 29 years of experience, and Mrs. N. Vijayalakshmi (M.A., B.Ed.), PGT of English with 25 years of experience, bring unparalleled depth to their teaching.

Non-Teaching Staff
Our 12 non-teaching staff play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the school. They are adaptable and proactive, handling administrative duties, supporting classroom activities, and ensuring daily operations run seamlessly. With effective communication skills, they interact positively with teachers, students, parents, and stakeholders, always welcoming feedback and addressing inquiries promptly.
