Our school proudly follows the Montessori Education system, a child-centric approach where children explore, touch, and learn without fear. This method instills in our students an “I can do it” attitude, laying the foundation for future success. Through hands-on experiences, we empower children to become confident, independent, and curious learners.
The school assembly is a cornerstone of our nurturing environment. It’s a time for the entire school to come together, celebrate achievements, reflect on values, and inspire one another. We recognize students who excel in English with Honour Cards and reward avid readers during our Library Week Celebration, reinforcing the joy and importance of reading.
Our focus on language development and cognitive skills is strengthened through programs like The Institute of Language Management (ILM), Abacus, and Mindspark. These initiatives challenge young minds and prepare them for academic excellence. As a result, our students have achieved remarkable milestones, including 10 national ranks in the Unified International Maths Olympiad (grade 3) and a national rank in the Unified International English Olympiad (grade 4).
Sports are equally important at our school. Our students have participated in various competitions and secured prestigious awards at the National and State levels, showcasing their talents beyond academics.
For our KG students, we create a nurturing environment filled with enthusiasm and a love for learning. Activities like Colour Day Celebrations build a solid foundation for their educational journey. Our playschool focuses on early development through singing, storytelling, tracing, and hands-on activities in the Montessori Lab. Events like the Graduation Ceremony and Sports Day celebrate their growth, filling the atmosphere with pride and joy.

Our Dedicated Team
At The Sivakasi Lions Playschool, we prioritize the foundational years of learning with dedicated educators who understand the unique needs of young children. Our teaching staff consists of 4 experienced teachers, all of whom are Montessori-trained and hold B.Ed. qualifications, ensuring a nurturing, child-centered learning environment.
Each teacher brings unique strengths and Montessori training, ensuring a strong foundation for our tiny tots. Mrs. B. Murugeswari (M.A., Montessori Trained) creates an engaging environment where children explore and grow confidently. Mrs. G. Chitra (M.Sc., B.Ed., Montessori Trained) sparks curiosity and joy in young minds through her innovative teaching methods. Mrs. M. Panchavarnam (B.Sc., DTEd, Montessori Trained) fosters academic and social development through interactive learning. Mrs. S. Sridevi (B.A., B.Ed.) inspires children to embrace learning with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Supporting our teaching efforts are 2 contingency staff members who contribute to the smooth functioning of the school, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment conducive to learning and play.
