The Sivakasi Lions Playschool traces its roots back to few decades. It was started as the Sivakasi Lions Kindergarten School in 1968 and transformed into the Sivakasi Lions Playschool in later 90’s. Its learning environment is carefully designed and planned such that freedom of expression, self – discipline, self – education through sense training and environmental exploration are the key teaching objectives.

Presently, the School bears the distinction as the first Montessori Playschool in the Virudhunagar district. It possesses the world famous scientific education called the Montessori Education, a unique system in which “The Teacher follows the Child”. It helps the tiny tots of 2 to 3 years old to acquire the qualities of confidence, patience, consciousness, fairness, faithful and socially well – mannered.

The fully air – conditioned classrooms with a huge variety of teaching aids expose the children to be good at listening, speaking, singing, reading, counting, colouring and doing handwork.

The aerated indoor play park helps them to be in good physique. The colourful ball house brings them fun and enthusiasm. Their visit to the Montessori Lab at the Junior School monthly twice on Saturdays, enhance their skills scientifically and artistically. The various celebrations such as the School Day, the Sports Day, the Children’s Day and the Fancy Dress Competition exhibit their all – round growth to everyone.
